Village Elections Theme

1st Phase

Following the Storybook Theme a new mayor needs to be elected and therefore the Village Elections Theme was introduced.

• Start = August 23, 2012
• End = August 29, 2012

2nd Phase

On November 6, 2012 the decorations of Village Elections Theme were reintroduced for a period of 48h following the US presidential elections. The items were offered at a 30% discount from their original prices.

• Start = November 6, 2012
• End = November 8, 2012

• Dino Election Flag decoration can be accessed without completing any challenges
• Regina and Rupert Election Flag cost was 950 now 665
• Dino Election Flag cost was 9 now 6

Challenges

"There has been a report that building flags for both Rupert AND Regina will stop you getting the next part of "The Candidacy!" challenge. As a matter of precaution, players are advised to build one flag for either Rupert or Regina. Please also read this post and below for a fix."

In case you have built flags for both Rupert and Regina, you will find The Candidacychallenge may disappear. To make the challenge re-appear, place all items related to the Village Elections Theme in inventory. Then take out only one election flag (either a Rupert or Regina) which will enable you to continue the challenge.

Get 6 crystals!

After completing the quest for one candidate, you can do it again for the other! Start by building a flag for the other candidate as set out above (if it's in your inventory, just bring it out). The challenge will appear again in your slider. Proceed as you did before by buying campaign signs and placards etc for the other candidate. Finally, vote for that candidate to gain an additional 3 crystals.

• The text for the Dino Campaign Sign states '15 Coins / 8 hours', the actual tax will be 15 per 5h.
