New Dino Fusion Tables[]
Thanks to all your great fusion reports, a new Dino Fusion Theory has been developed that explains the genetic dino code and incorporates the recent changes and upgrades to the Fusion Labs. The new theory, called Super Dino Fusion, replaces the original Dino Fusion theory, after major changes were made at the end of the first week of October 2012. Although the general framework of Dino Fusion was preserved, there are two significant changes in the new DinoFusion.
Change 1: Inclusion Principle guarantees all dinos are active!
Now, all dinos, even the Phoenix, can be obtained by fusion. All dinos are ACTIVE.
In the original DinoFusion, only a few select dinos were active. Back them, the Exclusion Principle guaranteed that at most one dino was active per biome in each tier. The fact that you could only fuse a few dinos, had the advantage that the fusion tables were relatively slim and small. Now that all dinos can be fused, the tables have mushroomed in size. But this is a small price to pay for being able to get any dino you want!
Change 2: All Biomes for the First Law are Active
Fortunately, the two laws of dinofusion have not changed. Only the rule for determining which biomes are activated in the first law.
The First Law of Dino Fusion states that when two dinos from the same biome are obtained, you get a dino from a different biome. We can represent the first law by the following equation, where the minus sign means not.
Biome + Biome = – Biome
The first law applies to both the original DinoFusion and the new Super DinoFusion. The two versions only differ in the rule which determines which of the different biomes you will get. That is, the rule for Biome Activation has changed.
In the original dinofusion, only one of the three possible different biomes was active. Back then, the biome activation rules were very simple.
Old Rule:
Tundra | + Tundra | = Air |
Forest | + Forest | = Air |
Desert | + Desert | = Air |
Air | + Air | = Tundra |
New Rule:
Super DinoFusion was designed to give many more possibilities. Now instead of only activating one of the three allowed biomes, all three different biomes are possible. The possible biomes are now displayed directly in the window for the Fusion Lab whenever two dinos are input. In older versions, the possible biomes were not displayed, and this Wikia Community had to work very hard to figure out the fusion laws.
Tundra | + Tundra | = Forest or Desert or Air |
Forest | + Forest | = Tundra or Desert or Air |
Desert | + Desert | = Tundra or Forest or Air |
Air | + Air | = Tundra or Forest or Desert |
The Second Law of Dino Fusion appears to have not changed at all. As before, it states that when dinos from two different biomes are fused, your get a dino from one of these biomes. That is:
Biome 1 | Biome 2 | = Biome 1 OR Biome 2 |
Summary: Let's summarize the two changes in Super Fusion.
Now all dinos are active and all biomes are active in the same-biome combos.
Please Share: When you successfully fuse a dino, please report your result back to the chart. Your fusion reports help us help you "get the dino you want".
New Features[]
- Fusion tables are larger since now all dinos are active. As before, slot order and level do not matter.
- Red, Green and Yellow dino-icons monitor whether each dino is inactive, active or changing. We expect all dinos will remain active for some time by the Inclusion Principle.
- Reset of all counts to zero to remove old obsolete data, which has been archived.
- Automatic filtering of many common errors.
- Help for reporting anomalous dinos, the first sign of fusion changes.
Please add a comment in the Talk section to provide feedback and suggest even more improvements.
Instructions for Entering your Fusion Report[]
To edit these Fusion Tables, it is highly recommended you use a Personal Computer or Laptop and not smaller screen gadgets such as the iPhone, iPad or Android handphones. These gadgets have limited editing capabilities and cannot effectively display tables of this size and complexity.
WORD of CAUTION: After insertion of the ghost dinos, the tables have become quite large, you might have to scroll to the far right to find a dino. In the bottom right hand corner of the table, all the column and row headings might not be visible. If you are unsure whether you are inserting your new fusion in the right cell, just leave a comment reporting your fusion below and someone will add it for you.
- First check if your dino is in the Fusion Table of the appropriate Tier. Usually it will be, this means you have one of the dinos that we expect from Super Dino Fusion.Just add one to your dino's counter. That's it, you are done.
- In the very rare case that you cannot find your dino, you have an Anomalous Result. Please file an Anomaly Report. A sample Anomaly Report Form is at the bottom of the page which you can just copy/paste.

Information[]

This dino was supposed to be Inactive, but there are a few reports now. So possibly it's now Active.
This dino was supposed to be Active, but now there is a fusion report of another dino of the same Biome. So possibly this dino has become Inactive
Note: When a dino is Inactive, it means you can't get it by fusion. You can still get any dino by random. Please see the list of dinos for current probability values for random hatch. Note, all shiny (limited) dinos are not currently available through random hatch.

Will New Dinos be Active?[]
Each time a new dino is introduced, the first task will be to verify if it can be fused. We expect that will be the case, since all dinos are presently active in Super Fusion. But this conjecture must be verified, by collecting and verifying fusion reports for each new dino.
